Change your email address on Steam on PC or Mac.

The simplest way to change your email address on Steam is by using the Steam client on your computer. The software on a PC or Mac allows you to change your email address and install and play games.

The Steam client plays a crucial role in securing a Steam account. If you have signed in with the Steam client, you can access the account settings, where you can manage all the settings, like changing your email address without phone number two-factor authentication to make it more secure, and much more. You just need to sign in and make changes accordingly.

Change your email address on Steam for PC or Mac.

Open the Steam client on PC or Mac and sign in.

In the steal client, open Windows Steam > Settings.
In Mac Steam > Preferences

Change your Steam email address by clicking on Change Contact Email Address.

Once you confirm the verification of your new email address, a Steam account will be sent to your new email address.

If you want to revert the changes, you must repeat this step to switch to your previous email address. If you are facing any problems while reverting, then you can contact the Steam support team for more advice.

Change your email address on Steam online.

If you don’t have installed the Steam client and want to change your Steam account email address online, you can use the Steam website from any device. You still have to authenticate using your Steam Guard mobile app with two-factor authentication in this procedure. If you don’t have setups, you may need to authenticate using your phone number or your email address, which is used on the Steam account.

Change the email address on Steam online with a website.

Open the Steam website and sign in.
Click on the account name.
From the drop-down menu, click on account details.
In the account details menu scroll to the contact info section.
Then click on Change my email address.
Choose any option to authenticate yourself. By using the Steam mobile app or following any additional on-screen instructions.
Once the authentication is completed, type your new email address and change your email.
To verify the email address, the system will send you an email. Once you confirm it, you will need to follow any instructions inside the email to verify your account.

Once you verify the new email address, Steam will start using the new email address in your Steam account.
